Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.
Our Church | Today we’re praying that we’d be a church that would be generous for the sake of the good news of Jesus. Let’s give thanks for the generosity that allows us to operate, and pray that we might generously give of our time to cover our serving needs, and our money to cover our financial needs, so that we might be a healthy church able to be a light for the gospel in our community. Let’s pray too that we might be generous with many other opportunities to partner in the gospel going out in all sorts of places – across our city, on campus, in regional areas and overseas.
Our Networks | Today we’re praying for Trinity Church Adelaide and Trinity Church Lockleys. Let’s give thanks for today’s ‘Commitment Sunday’ at Trinity Church Adelaide and pray for the many women and men being baptised and/or making affirmations of faith this morning and at the service this evening. Let’s also give thanks for Kylie who’s begun as a new children’s worker at Trinity Church Lockleys and pray that God would use her leadership to better equip kids ministry at this church.
Our World | Let’s pray today for justice to be done in our world. We can remember those who are mistreated or victims of corruption and inequality. Let’s pray that God would remember these people and bless them and that he might grow our hearts in generosity so that we might seek the justice in this world that so honours God.
