Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. If you would like to let us know about prayer points for the Pastoral Care Team to be praying about please fill out our contact card here. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.
Our Church | Today we’re praying that God would keep growing us as a church to be mature in Christ. Let’s give thanks for God’s mercy, that he chooses to use us and grow us and that he is faithful to us. Let’s pray that we will be able to say, as Paul said near the end of his life, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” We can especially thank God for his word that he uses to teach us, and pray for Simon as he prepares to preach from Leviticus this term and for our Growth Groups as they spend time in that book.
Our Networks | Today we’re praying for Bible College SA. Let’s give thanks for God’s provision through the BCSA End of Financial Year Appeal. We can pray for a great semester ahead for staff and students, and also give thanks for Cat Anderson who has been appointed as Office Manager.
Our World | Let’s pray this week for God to be raising up workers for his harvest. May many in our church, in other churches, and around the world seek to share the good news that Jesus is Lord with other and may many come to him in faith around our world which desperately needs him.
