Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. If you would like to let us know about prayer points for the Pastoral Care Team to be praying about please fill out our contact card here. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.
Our Church | Today let’s remember our youth in prayer. As we think about growing in Christian maturity at church today let’s pray that we would see our young people growing in faith as they also grow into adulthood. We can pray particularly for this year of youth group to finish well and for those year 6s starting in the group in 2026 who have already come along and enjoyed a couple of nights this term.
Our Networks | We’re praying today for Flinders ES and for Lauren Hull. Let’s give thanks for the opportunity for 2000+ students from across Australia to gather in Canberra for teaching & training in God’s word and mission at NTE next month. Give thanks for the 15 Flinders ES who will travel across, and pray that they’ll grow in love for God & his word, and be excited for mission on campus in 2026. Pray for Lauren & staff team as they prepare for leading content on NTE.
Our World | Let’s pray today for the workplaces and community organisations we’re involved with during the week. Let’s pray that those who work and serve in these places would be able to work well and that God would give us enjoyment and success in how we spend our time. Let’s also pray that all of us would shine like lights for the gospel in the places we spend our time.
