Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. If you would like to let us know about prayer points for the Pastoral Care Team to be praying about please fill out our contact card here. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.
Our Church | Today we’re praying for our membership area at church. Our prayer is that our church would be much more than a building or event we visit on Sundays, but that we would feel the reality that in church we belong to God and his people. Let’s especially pray that we would help newcomers feel welcome and like they belong quickly. We can pray too for our welcoming and pastoral care teams who help to facilitate the way we care for one another.
Our Networks | Today we’re praying for Bush Church Aid. We can pray for John in his leadership of the SA/NT region. Let’s pray too for David and Margy Williams, previously serving at a church in Strathalbyn and have recently accepted a role with Bush Church Aid at a church in Queenstown, regional Tasmania. We can pray for them as they prepare for their move.
Our World | Let’s pray today for justice to be done around our world. We can pray for God to remember those who are victims, mistreated or impoverished. We can especially pray in these cold months for those who are without housing, or without the necessary resources to stay warm. Let’s pray that God would show mercy and kindness!
