Prayer Points – November 23

Prayer Points – November 23

Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. If you would like to let us know about prayer points for the Pastoral Care Team to be praying about please fill out our contact card here. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.

Our Church |  Today we’re praying for our membership area – we want to be a church that highly values our membership as part of God’s people. We can pray that we would express this well by caring for one another and serving one another. We can also pray that we’d do well and helping others come to join us quickly feel like they’re welcome and that they belong. As part of this we can remember our welcoming teams in prayer.

Our Networks |  We’re praying today for Trinity Church Colonel Light Gardens. Let’s give thanks that the church was able to run its first ‘Taste and See’ course, and for positive engagements with the community at Remembrance Day and Halloween events. Let’s pray for God to continue to be at work in the community, drawing people to himself and raising up leaders.

Our World |  Let’s pray today for peace and safety in our world. Let’s especially remember those who work hard to keep us safe here in Adelaide – our medical professionals, police, and frontline workers. We know that often times they are the ones still working hard through the upcoming holiday period, so let’s give thanks for them and pray that God would continue to grant that Adelaide would be a safe and blessed place to live.
