Pastor’s Letter – July 31st

Pastor’s Letter – July 31st

Hello church,

I’ve got three things to let you know about this week:

1 – Let’s have lunch together! Please plan to stick around after church on Sunday August 14 for a relaxed church family lunch. Details to follow, but we’ll make sure it’s low cost and kid friendly (complete with a kids’ DVD). To assist us in our planning, please email brighton@trinity.church to let us know if you’ve got any dietary requirements. And feel free to invite friends you’d like to introduce to your church family.

2 – Let’s get behind our sister K! Last Sunday Mark Peterson gave us a great encouragement to consider our role in God’s global mission as we participate in partnership with people like ‘K’, serving in a risky part of South East Asia. A few of you have asked how you can be kept up to date with her situation and support her in prayer. We’ve got supporter cards on the welcome table, or sign up here: https://www.cms.org.au/missionaries/k2/

3 – Let’s get into Genesis! We kick off our series in Genesis this week as Matt Winter helps us see the greatness of our God from Genesis chapter 25 through to the end of the book. There is simply too much to cover off in our Sunday services, so make the time to read it through at home and soak up the richness of God’s grace to work through such broken people. Each week Matt will be posting Bible studies on the website, so keep checking in here to get the latest: https://www.trinitybay.church/resources/growth-group-studies/
