Prayer Points – October 19

Prayer Points – October 19

Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. If you would like to let us know about prayer points for the Pastoral Care Team to be praying about please fill out our contact card here. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.

Our Church |  Today let’s pray for our staff and leadership team. At this time of change we can ask for God to be giving wisdom to our leadership team as they consider plans for 2026 and potential staffing options. We can keep praying for the Winter family and for the Marshman family as we plan for changes for 2026 too.

Our Networks |  We’re praying today for the Bible College of South Australia. Let’s pray for students as they prepare for end of year exams and assignments. We can also give thanks for last week’s Open Day and pray that many would decide to come to college in 2026, for the sake of having more gospel workers in Adelaide and beyond. Let’s also pray for the changes happening at the college next year, incuding new Monday evening classes, that those change would enable more flexibility and more people to be trained in the Bible and in ministry skills.

Our World |  Let’s pray for Christians who are suffering in our world or experiencing persecution. Let’s pray for protection for pastors and Christians in Nigeria amidst increasing attacks. We can also give thanks that the Indian Supreme Court has agreed to review anti-conversion laws that some Indian states have recently introduce. Pray that those rules would be overturned!
