Hello church,
We’ve got some important events coming up to let you know about. Dates first, details below:
• Sunday March 1: Our 20th Anniversary Celebration with lunch after church.
• Sunday March 1: Nominations for Leadership Team due.
• Sunday March 15: Trinity Church Brighton AGM Prayer Meeting.
• Monday February 23: Ladies Cuppa at the Marshman’s.
20th Anniversary Celebration Lunch:
• We are planning a special church service to thank God for his kindness over the last 20 years, followed by a relaxed bring-and-share lunch in the gym.
• Please feel free to invite past members of our church, and of course it will be a great chance for anyone exploring church to find out what we’re all about.
• If your surname begins with A to L, please bring a dessert. If your surname begins with M through to Z, please bring a main course dish. Drinks, plates and cutlery will be provided. Remember to bring any necessary serving utensils and label anything you want to get back at the end of lunch. Please also ensure all food is nut-free.
AGM Prayer Meeting:
• Our AGM has some brief formal matters to consider that will take approximately 15 minutes, followed by an opportunity to pray for God’s ongoing work in and through us in the year ahead.
• There will be an election for one position to the Trinity Church Brighton Leadership Team. Nominations are due by Sunday March 1. Nomination forms and related information can be collected at church.
• Anyone is welcome to attend but voting for the Leadership Team position is restricted to those who:
– are baptised Christians
– are aged 18 years or over
– identify as a member of Trinity Church Brighton in regular fellowship and not sharing in ministry and fellowship of any other church
– affirm the beliefs of Trinity Church Brighton as set out here on our website: https://www.trinitybay.church/more/about/what-we-believe/
Ladies Cuppa at the Marshman’s:
• All Trinity Church Brighton ladies are welcome to come along for an informal cuppa and chat.
• 9:30am-11:30am, Monday February 23.
