Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.
Our Church | Today we’re praying for our ministry area. Let’s give thanks that we can serve one another and in doing so represent Christ. We can give thanks for those who serve us so well in so many formal and informal ways, and pray that we’ll be provided with the people we need so that we might serve in a way that is joyful and sustainable.
Our Networks | Today we’re praying for the Trinity Churches in the Hills and Fleurieu regions. Lets give thanks for the way the new 5pm gathering at Aldgate has started over recent months. We can also give thanks for the series Mount Barker has been doing on the purpose of church, and we can pray for Trinity Church Victor Harbour – for the group that has recently started of new and young Christians, and for their plans to plant a church in Goolwa over the coming years.
Our World | Today as we hear about the topic of rest, let’s pray for our world as turmoil and war continue to worsen. Let’s pray that many can look to the promise of ‘rest’ that God offers for those who trust in Jesus. Let’s give thanks that Jesus has secured eternal rest and that present conflict cannot take away that hope.
