Hello Church,
Three things to let you know about:
- This Sunday is Father’s Day and we’ll have egg and bacon muffins ready to enjoy before church. Bring your dad along any time from 9:30 for a coffee and muffin and the opportunity to share in church together. This will be our final week in Leviticus, but it’s the most accessible week of the series with plenty that will resonate with busy dads (and no mention of bodily discharges at all!).
- Next Sunday afternoon (the 14th) we’re gathering for prayer: 3:30-4:30pm in “The Minis Room” at Holdfast Bay Community Centre. We’ll have a particular focus on praying for Taste and See, alongside praying more generally for our church and our world. If you struggle to know what to pray or how to pray, or simply find it hard to make the time, this will be a great to come to!
- We had the first night of Taste and See last night with 7 guests attending, loads of great conversations, and some really excellent engagement over Q&A. Please pray that God will be at work in those who came and that they will return for week 2. Also pray that the additional guests who plan to join us from week 2 will indeed come along and that God would be kind to bring people to faith in Jesus.
