Dear Church,
This Sunday we’re diving into the book of Colossians where we’ll be spending most of our time through to Easter. This is a great book that is somehow helpfully simple for people who are new to the Christian faith, yet also profoundly stretching for established Christians. How did Paul do that? With the wisdom of God and the inspiration of the Spirit, I suppose! So – if you’ve got a friend who is interested in learning a bit more of what Christians believe, this is a great term to invite them along for a Sunday! Or if your teenage children are testing you with all kinds of questions about our faith (as they do), this is a term to get them along to church at every opportunity! Or if you’re keen to grow, or are feeling a little dry in your faith, or love to see how deep theology gets plays out in everyday life, this will be a great term for you too!
