Our Church | Today we give thanks to God for mothers day. We thank God for the gift of mothers and for the way in which they point us to God’s care and love for his creation. We also pray today for those who find today hard – for those who have lost mothers, for those who have lost children, for those who would love to be mothers but aren’t, for those who would love to have more children but can’t, for those who have difficult relationships with their mothers or with their children or no relationship at all – we pray for God’s love to bring comfort amongst the grief. We also give God great thanks for the community we are saved into and for those who are ‘spiritual’ mothers to us and to others in our church family.
Our Network | We pray for Trinity Church Woodcroft. We thankyou for the fun they had at the women’s chocolate easter night, and that guests came and were able to hear the gospel. We pray for their upcoming ‘Hope Explored’ course and pray that they would see people respond in faith.
Our World | As we see ongoing conflict in Ukraine we continue to pray for deescalation and peace. We pray that God would protect and encourage the people of Ukraine. We pray that hearts would be changed and mercy and compassion would reign.
