Prayer Points – November 27

Prayer Points – November 27

Our Church | We’re praying this morning that we would go on being a church growing to be mature disciples of Jesus. We can pray that Jesus would lead us through his word to live for him and avoid temptation (today’s sermon topic).

Our Gospel Network | This morning we’re praying for the Church Missionary Society (CMS). We can pray for a great Summer Conference this January. We’re also praying for K, a missionary we parter with in South East Asia. We can thank God for sustaining her through an intense term teaching two levels and thank him for growing K’s relationships with local people. We can ask that God would grow K’s capacity to help her keep making deeper connections with students.

Our World | This morning we’re praying for the persecuted church around the world. We can pray for the church in Iran, facing much struggle amongst the civil unrest following the death of Mahsa Amini, a young woman in custody. Particularly we can pray that churches can go on meeting and that the government would quickly open up internet access so that online ministries that operate in the country can resume. We can pray too for justice, peace and freedom in Iran.
