Pastor’s Letter – April 7

Pastor’s Letter – April 7

Hello church,

Praise God for a great Easter weekend together! It was so encouraging to have a number of visitors joining with a pretty full house of our church family to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection. Just a few brief things to let you know about this week:

– Next weekend is Summit Camp for our youth, combined with youth from across the Trinity Network southern region. Today is the last day to rego – but we can all be praying for this great event in the coming week.

– Sunday 14 is also a great chance to hear about the work that God is doing in Broken Hill, and how we can be a part of it. Come and meet the Hurley’s over lunch from 12:00-2:00pm at Trinity Colonel Light Gardens.

– Sunday April 28th we have our Annual General Meeting after church. And when you read AGM, please get excited and put it in your diary! We’ll have a punchy half-hour of reflecting on and praying for God’s work in our midst in the year that has been and that is to come. We have a few governance matters to discuss, but they are brief and genuinely connected to our life together as a church. And it is a rare opportunity to pray together across the various aspects of our life together as a church.
