Each week in our service we pray for our church, our network and our world. If you would like to let us know about prayer points for the Pastoral Care Team to be praying about please fill out our contact card here. We also have a prayer meeting each Sunday before church from 9-9:30, which you’re always welcome at.
Our Church | Today we’re praying that we’d be a church that would continue to grow in maturity and Christ-likeness. It’s good to pray for our preaching, and pray that those who preach at our church would speak to our hearts as they point us to the truths found in God’s word. Let’s also remember those who lead small groups and Growth Groups during the week and the valuable role they play in this task.
Our Networks | Today we’re praying for Bush Church Aid. This week is the Bush Church Aid National AGM and Council Meeting, so we can pray for good and wise decisions. We can also remember Brenton and Laura Hurley in Broken Hill at Saltbush Evangelical Church – they’ve asked for prayer that many of the more fringe people at their church would become members, and that members would care deeply for one another and support one another.
Our World | Let’s pray today for peace and safety in our community and world, and remember our frontline workers who serve us so well. It would be good to keep praying for peace with so many conflicts around our world seemingly escalating.
