Prayer Points – April 3rd

Our Church | We thank God this morning for those who help make church happen each week. For those who serve us in setup, packup, for those who run the sound desk and projector slides. Thanks for their gifts and their example of servant heartedness. We pray that these ministries would be blessed, that we’d keep having enough people to do these things so that the burden doesn’t fall too heavily on any particular person.

Our Partner | We pray for the Bible College of South Australia (BCSA). We pray for students, part way through semester and pray that time spent in completing assessments will serve to mature them in faith. We pray for the faculty and pray that they would seek to invest in students with time and generosity. We pray too for many supporters to invest financially in the future of the college.

Our World | We pray this morning for the persecuted church. We give you praise for stories like that of many young people becoming believers in Malaysia recelntly, despite evangelism being forbidden. We pray for churches in Sudan being affected by the Government’s policy of closing and selling off church buildings – we pray for perseverence. We pray for Christians under extreme pressure in Ukraine, and thankyou for the example of Russian Christians who are raising awareness and money for Ukraine, putting themselves at risk by doing so.
